Keith was introduced to Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1970 when he started to learn traditional Chinese Massage (Tui Na) whilst studying martial arts. Keith became more involved in the healing arts as time went by and after learning yoga and meditation in the 1970s he studied shiatsu and qualified as a practitioner in 1985. Keith graduated from the London School of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1989 and went on to study and work in the teaching hospitals of the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China. After studying Chinese herbal medicine Keith became more interested in nutrition, especially from the aspect of helping clients achieve optimum levels of health and vitality, and in 2000 he gained a certificate in Applied Clinical Nutrition from the International Academy of Integrated Medicine.

Keith has been teaching Traditional Oriental Medicine, shiatsu, traditional Chinese massage (Tui Na) and acupuncture since 1986. In September 2004 he was appointed visiting professor to the Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, China. He is a member of the British Acupuncture Council, the British Register of Complementary Practitioners and the Federation of Nutritional Therapy.
